Unlicensed Central Islip man arrested for DWI in Cutchogue

A Central Islip man was arrested in Cutchogue for driving drunk with a suspended license Saturday night, Southold Town police said.

Daniel Melara-Montano, 30, was stopped at around 11 p.m. for a traffic violation on Route 25 and was found to be intoxicated, police said.

Mr. Melara-Montano was charged with driving while intoxicated and aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, officials said. He was transported to police headquarters and held for morning arraignment, officials said.
