If you were hoping today’s stormy weather will lead to sunshine the rest of this holiday week, we’re sorry to disappoint. The National Weather Service has issued a hazardous weather advisory for a possible snowstorm Thanksgiving Day.
The storm is expected to start as rain during the day Wednesday before turning to all snow at night. The snowfall could continue into Thursday morning, according to the forecast.
Though forecasters say it’s too early to gauge the impact of the storm, the NWS said it could impact holiday travel plans for Wednesday.
“At this time there is quite a bit of uncertainty on the exact track and strength of the coastal low that could cause the snow,” the National Weather Service said in an advisory issued Sunday morning.

This morning’s rain is expected to clear up by noon with temperatures reaching the mid-6os today. Tuesday won’t be quite as warm but will offer a nice dry day before the rain is expected to return Wednesday.
