Carol Bergen Simeoni

Former Southold resident Carol Bergen Simeoni died Dec. 27, 2014, in Stuart, Fla. She was 81. 

She was born Dec. 29, 1932, at Eastern Long Island Hospital in Greenport to Ruth (Tuttle) and Tunis Bergen. She graduated from Southold High School and married Vincent Simeoni June 4, 1960.

Ms. Simeoni worked as a certified nursing assistant at Martin Memorial Hospital in Stuart. Her husband said that they enjoyed traveling in their recreational vehicle together.

In addition to her husband, Ms. Simeoni is survived by her daughter, Diane. She was predeceased by her brother, Norm Bergen.

Services were held Jan. 2 in Florida.
