Services for Sidney Abbott set

A memorial service and celebration for Sidney Abbott of Southold will take place Saturday, May 9, at 2 p.m. at Cutchogue Methodist Church.

Ms. Abbott, who died April 15 in a house fire, was a renowned lesbian feminist author who wrote “Sappho Was A Right On Woman” along with Barbara Love.

All are welcome. Refreshments will be served.
