Cops: Woman locked in bathroom found with drugs

A Riverhead woman was arrested at CVS in Mattituck on Tuesday for being in possession of several prescription drugs that she didn’t have a prescription for, Southold Town police said.

Police responded to a report of a woman locked in the bathroom at 5:43 p.m. The officers found Gina Bruswitz, 25, in the bathroom and discovered the prescription drugs during an interview, police said.

She was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor, police said.
