Porters homecoming events at Greenport High School

Greenport High School officials have announced homecoming details for this year’s Porters football team.

Here’s a rundown of the events at Greenport High School, according to the district’s website:

Homecoming dance on Thursday, Oct. 15, from 7:00 to 9:30 p.m. in the high school gym

Spirit Week and dressing up for school between Oct. 19 and 23

• Monday, Oct. 19: Pajama Day

• Tuesday, Oct. 20: Tropical Day

• Wednesday, Oct. 21: Disney Day

• Thursday, Oct. 22: Celebrity Day

• Friday, Oct. 23: Wear purple and gold for Porter Day

Homecoming game events on Friday, Oct. 23

• Pep rally between periods 5th through 9th in the auditorium and gym.

• Homecoming parade from 4:45 to 5:45 p.m.

• Bonfire 6 p.m. at the school’s athletic fields

• Porters football game 7 p.m. at Dorrie Jackson Memorial Field
