The East End Drug Task Force, in conjunction with the Southold Town Police Department, arrested a Greenport man early this morning and charged him with drug possession and endangering the welfare of a child after they said he was found with cocaine while children were present.
According to Southold Police, Suffolk County’s Emergency Services Unit executed a search warrant at a home occupied by Lavain Creighton, 45, this morning. Three children were allegedly at the Main Street home at the time of the bust.
Mr. Creighton was charged with misdemeanor charges of criminal possession of a controlled substance and endangering the welfare of a child.
He was processed and held for arraignment.
