Engagements: Alyssa Lynne Knoernschild and Erich Andrew Russell

Linda and David Knoernschild of Peconic have announced the engagement of their daughter, Alyssa Lynne Knoernschild, to Erich Andrew Russell.

Alyssa graduated from Southold High School and the University of Vermont. She is currently pursuing a master’s degree in nutrition and is employed by a nonprofit foundation in Portland, Maine.

Erich is the son of Maria and Farrand Russell of Duanesburg, N.Y. A graduate of the University of Vermont and Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine, he is a resident physician in the radiology department at Maine Medical Center in Portland.

The couple resides in Portland. A summer 2017 wedding is planned.
