NWS: Light snow expected to cause messy morning commute

The National Weather Service is predicting light snow showers Thursday night into Friday morning.

Hazardous travel conditions are expected during Friday morning’s commute with snow tapering off by the afternoon and totaling up to two inches.

Temperatures are expected to be in the low 20s Thursday night and Friday’s weather forecast calls for wind gusts up to 30 mph.

Warmer weather is on the way with temperatures in the 40s over the weekend. Sunny skies are projected for the begining of the week with temperatures reaching as high as 57 degrees on Wednesday.
