Final vacancy filled on Greenport Village Planning Board
The Greenport Village Planning Board, which has been having difficulty getting its members to attend meetings, will soon be at full strength for the first time in several months. The village Trustees voted last Thursday to fill the final vacancy on the board.
The Planning Board was unable to meet from Jan. 8 to April 6 because it couldn’t get a required quorum of at least three members present at any of its meetings.
The board appointed architect John Cutugno to fill the remainder of the term vacated by former member Chris Dowling, which expires March 31, 2019. Mr. Dowling resigned in February.
In April the board appointed Lucy Clark to the seat formerly held by Pat Mundus, who had been unable to attend meetings this winter.
