Cops: Father drove drunk with daughter in Cutchogue

A Sayville man was arrested on a felony charge Sunday after driving drunk with his 7-year-old daughter in Cutchogue, Southold Town police said.

Patrick Macgowan, 44, was driving on Route 48 around 7:45 p.m. when police pulled him over for a traffic infraction, officials said.

During the investigation, police determined Mr. Macgowan was intoxicated and charged him with Leandra’s Law, police said.

He was held for an arraignment, officials said.
