Business Beat: Greenport native appointed director of brand development

North Fork native Jamie Claudio has been appointed director of brand development for the Long Island Convention & Visitors Bureau and Sports Commission.

Ms. Claudio, who lives in Bellmore but grew up in Greenport, is a member of the family that has owned and operated Claudio’s Restaurant in Greenport for more than a century.

“Who better to develop, promote and protect Long Island’s brand than the daughter of one of our most iconic tourism families?” said LICVB&SC president and CEO Kristen Jarnagin in a press release.
