Kait’s Angels will hold a community yard sale Saturday, Oct. 1, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Doorhy home at 1125 Ole Jule Lane, Mattituck. All proceeds will benefit Bill Esposito, who was hit while riding his motorcycle, and Johanna Benthal, who suffers from CCM3 brain hemorrhages. Donations can be dropped off at 1125 Ole Jule Lane Friday, Sept. 30, 3 to 7 p.m. only, please.

Speaking of Kait’s Angels, one Mattituck High School student recently received a textbook that had Kaitlyn Doorhy’s name in it. She took that to mean that she had a textbook with an angel’s touch and was inspired to become one of the newest members of the organization named for Kaitlyn.
