Eleanor C. Watson

Eleanor C. Watson of Greenport died Feb. 16 at San Simeon by the Sound Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation. She was 93.

She was born Sept. 14, 1918, in the Bronx to Emil and Magdalena Cederholm.

A former resident of Florida, Ms. Watson worked as a real estate agent in Cocoa Beach.

According to family members, she enjoyed sewing, reading the newspaper word for word, cutting coupons and watching Westerns on television.

Predeceased by her first and second husbands, Stanley W. Church and James K. Watson, and her daughter Jacqueline Sisino, she is survived by her daughters Rochelle Abraham of Mississippi and Jamie McGuire of California and her son, Stanley Church of New York; 13 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

Visiting hours and a service were held Feb. 20 at Coster-Heppner Funeral Home in Cutchogue, Pastor Weaver officiating. Interment took place Feb. 21 at The Woodlawn Cemetery in the Bronx.
