Tiny Easter egg hunters stormed Mitchell Park on Saturday morning for the second annual Greenport Village Easter Egg Roll.
The tots loaded their baskets with plastic eggs filled with tiny trinkets, clearing the park just moments after the hunt began.
Children ages two to five hunted at 10:30 a.m., and children ages six to 10 descended on the park at noon. READ

The Southold Town Police Benevolent Association held its annual Easter egg hunt on the grounds of Southold School Saturday morning. Volunteers from the PBA and from NJROTC were on hand to help organize the event. (more…)

The Mattituck Park District held its annual Easter egg hunt Sunday, but at the Aldrich Lane athletic fields in Laurel rather than at Veterans Park beach, which was heavily damaged by superstorm Sandy.
