The Mattituck Chamber of Commerce kicked off its 38th annual “Old Fashioned Street Fair” on pretty as a picture Love Lane on Saturday.

The highlight of the event was the crowning of Little Mr. and Miss Mattituck, a beloved community tradition.

The Love Lane Street Fair is a highlight of summer and a chance to catch up with old friends and take a good look at the changing face of Love Lane. There was definite excitement brewing over the imminent arrival of Lombardi’s Market and the anticipated opening of Ammirati’s. The Mattituck Chamber of Commerce held its 37th annual street fair on Love Lane Saturday. The event featured vendors, live music, face painting, food and refreshments, as well as the crowning of Little Miss and Little Mr. Mattituck. (more…)
