A Cutchogue man with a history of arrests was charged Wednesday night for twice burglarizing a Route 58 business in recent weeks, Riverhead Town police said.
Joseph Reiter Jr., 37, of Cutchogue, who was wanted on New York State parole warrant, was arrested about 10:55 p.m. and charged with two counts of third-degree burglary, a felony, police said.

Riverhead Dodge, which once billed itself as the only Riverhead car dealership not on Route 58, appears to be headed there.
Last month, the company purchased the former Out East Family Fun mini-golf and batting cage site on the western end of the busy thoroughfare, with the goal of building a new dealership there and eventually moving from West Main Street, said owner Tony Strollo. (more…)
While Costco’s opening had been thought to be postponed until July, the company announced today that its opening date will indeed move on as originally scheduled, shooting for a June 26 opening. (more…)
The Riverhead Costco on Route 58 has been advertised as opening June 26, according to the store’s website and Facebook page, but the actual opening is still undetermined and likely to be sometime in mid-to-late July, according to a Costco employee with knowledge of the opening.

Tanger Outlet’s Nike Factory Store is planning on closing temporarily later this month as it renovates its store from March 17 through 19.
The company said it plans on updating dressing rooms and adding easier-to-read signage.
A grand re-opening will follow the temp closing from Tuesday, March 20, through Sunday, March 23.
From March 20 through March 23, the company will be hosting gift giveaways — granting free gifts to the first 200 first shoppers each day — as well as offering the chance to win a $500 gift card.
