The Southold Board of Education adopted a $29,981,000 budget for the 2018-19 school year at its meeting last Wednesday, April 18.
The proposed spending plan is a 1.84 percent, or $541,000, increase over the 2017-18 budget and remains under the district’s tax levy cap, officials said. The board approved the budget with a 4-0 vote. Board member Scott Latham was absent from the meeting. — READ
