Michael and Carol Malkush of Cutchogue have announced the marriage of their daughter Melissa to Don Peters, son of Ron and Pat Peters of Newtown, Ohio. The ceremony took place at New Suffolk Beach Sept. 10. The reception was held in the Malkushes’ backyard in Cutchogue.

Timothy Bryan and Sarah McLane were married March 3, 2014, at the Sugarman Estate on Maui, Hawaii.
Timothy is a graduate of Mattituck High School and Oberlin College and is employed as senior captain of the Alii Nui sailing catamaran out of Ma’alaea Harbor on Maui.
Sarah is a graduate of the University of South Carolina and has accepted a position as a geographic information systems educational specialist at the University of Hawaii, Maui College.
The couple resides in Paia, Maui, Hawaii.
Diane Valentine and Matthew Ritter
Diane Valentine and Matthew Ritter were married Sept. 18 at Founders Landing in Southold. The bride was attended by her daughter, Cherise Hutchings of Connecticut, and Mr. Ritter’s brother, John Ritter of Eureka, Calif., served as best man.
The bride, originally from Fairfield County, Conn., is a self-employed writer and artist and a former editorial assistant with The Shelter Island Reporter.
The groom, a lifelong Greenport resident, is the son of Donald Ritter of Greenport and Arlene Ritter of Salem, Va. He is a local contractor, and attends Suffolk County Community College, where he is majoring in secondary education.
The couple resides in Greenport.
