Blanche Rogers

Southold resident Blanche Rogers, formerly of Fort Lee, N.J., died May 3 at her home. She was 93.

She was born May 18, 1916, in the Bronx to John and Katherine Wojtowicz. She married Charles Rogers in 1938.

Ms. Rogers was a parishioner of St. Patrick R.C. Church in Southold and a member of its Rosary Society. She also belonged to Homemakers, Senior Citizens and the Red Hat Society and was a volunteer at the Southold Historical Society Treasure Exchange.

Predeceased by her husband in 1974, she is survived by her children, Carol Beaugard and Charles; her brother, Al Walters of Florida; 11 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.

Family will receive visitors Saturday, May 8, from 1 to 4 p.m. at Coster-Heppner Funeral Home in Cutchogue and Sunday, May 9, from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Patti-Mikitarian Funeral Home in Fort Lee, N.J. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Monday, May 10, at Main Madonna Church in Fort Lee. Interment will follow at Carmel Cemetery in Tenafly, N.J.
