Geraldine M. Conklin

Geraldine M. Conklin of Greenport died at her home on May 8. She was 58.

She was born Aug. 11, 1951, in Yeso, N.M., to Leonorcita Gauna and Nicolas Samora.

A resident of the North Fork for the last 37 years, she worked as a housekeeper at San Simeon by the Sound Nursing and Rehabilitation Center for 12 years and also as a home health aide.

Ms. Conklin was a member of St. Agnes R.C. Church in Greenport.

She is survived by three children, Kirsten, of Deer Park, and Kelly Stoner and Nicole, both of Greenport; siblings, Nick, Raymond, Lucio, Sonny and Manuel Samora, Aurora Levario, Eloysa Samora, Leticia Webb, Corrine Marez and Cecilia Servatius; and two grandchildren. She is also survived by her former husband, Bradley Conklin.

The family received friends May 10, at DeFriest-Grattan Funeral Home in Southold, where religious services were conducted May 11, by Father Thomas Murray of St. Agnes. Interment was at Sterling Cemetery in Greenport.
