A charge of driving while intoxicated brought against Kleber Fredy Guaillas Chillpi, 34, of Deer Park was dismissed by Judge William Price Jr. in Southold Justice Court Friday because Mr. Guaillas Chillpi was indicted on the charge by a Suffolk County grand jury. He will face a later court date in Riverhead Criminal Court.

* Robert Samuels, 43, of Merrick pleaded guilty to driving while ability impaired by alcohol and was fined $700. Judge Price vacated a previous order to suspend Mr. Samuels’ driving privileges for 90 days, but said it would be up to the New York State Department of Motor Vehicles whether or not to reinstate the license.

* Carlos Veliz, 30, of Riverhead was fined $585 after he pleaded guilty to a charge of aggravated unlicensed operation of a vehicle.

* Robert Giliberti, 61, of Baldwin was granted an adjournment for six months in contemplation of dismissing a charge of second-degree menacing.

* Karen Nicholas, 46, of Southold was granted a six-month adjournment in contemplation of dismissing a charge of third-degree unauthorized use of a vehicle.
