Louis Frank Sulich
Louis Frank Sulich of Cutchogue died at Eastern Long Island Hospital on Monday, May 10, 2010. He was 88 years old.
Mr. Sulich was born in the Chelsea section of Manhattan on Jan. 10, 1922, to Louis and Maria Sulich. He was educated at Haaren High School, the Drake School of Drafting and New York University, where he was trained as a professional engineer. He was retired from Chemtex in New York City.
Beginning in 1968, he spent weekends and summers on the North Fork before moving here permanently in 1995. From 1954 until 1995, he resided in Beechurst, Queens.
He is survived by his wife, Sonia; two daughters, Teresa M. Scofield of McLean, Va., and Luisa M. Beebe of Cutchogue; and three grandchildren, Daniel Scofield, Theodore Beebe and Lisa Beebe.
The family will receive friends on Monday, May 17, from 10 a.m. to noon at DeFriest-Grattan Funeral Homes in Mattituck. Funeral services will follow at noon in the funeral home with the Rev. George Gaffga. Interment will follow at Cutchogue Cemetery.
