Mattituck man charged with DWI

A 22-year-old Mattituck man was arrested for driving drunk early Sunday Morning following a single-car accident, Southold Town police said.

Justin Wadelton of Sunset Avenue was driving along Route 25 in Cutchogue when police say he lost control of his vehicle and struck a light pole before his car was flipped onto its side.

He was charged with DWI after he identified himself as the driver and an officer on the scene determined he was intoxicated, police said.
