Police catch wanted Boston man as he exits North Ferry

A Boston man wanted on a warrant was arrested Monday after he exited the North Ferry in Greenport, Southold Police said.
Anton Miles, 27, was charged with criminal impersonation after he gave a false name to arresting officer Frank Lyburd.
Officer Lyburd approached Mr. Miles, who was wanted on an outstanding warrant from Massachusetts, after receiving a tip from Shelter Island police to be on the lookout for his green Honda. Mr. Miles was released to the custody of Shelter Island police to face additional charges. Shelter Island police did not immediately return a phone call seeking more information on the charges.
It was also not immediately clear what Mr. Miles was wanted for in Massachusetts.
