Southold Police Report

Janessa Andruski, 27, of Southold was charged with driving while impaired by drugs on Friday at 3:57 p.m., after police stopped her for a traffic violation as she drove a 1996 Jeep Cherokee on Route 25 in Cutchogue, police said. Her vehicle was impounded due to a previous DWI conviction, police said.

* Julio Ramos-Diaz, 28, of Mattituck was charged with driving while intoxicated, driving without a license and failing to maintain his lane on Sunday at 2:39 a.m., after police saw him cross over the center line of Route 48 in Mattituck while driving a 2000 Infiniti, police said.

* Esteban Rodriguez, 20, of Greenport was charged with criminal trespass and resisting arrest on Saturday at 2:19 a.m. in Greenport. Police responded to a call from a 50-year-old Greenport man that an unknown person was in his house on Second Street in the village, police said. Upon arrival, the officer saw someone exiting the rear door of the house, police said. Mr. Rodriguez ran off after the officer told him to stop, and a short foot pursuit followed, police said.

* Erik Lopez, 16, of Greenport was charged with harassment last Thursday at 6:36 p.m. in the village, after a female Greenport resident reported to police that she and her friends were being followed around the village by Mr. Lopez and another juvenile, police said.

* Guy Serbes, 49, of Southold was charged with first-degree offering to file a false instrument by Suffolk County Police on Middle Country Road in Selden on Monday, May 10. Mr. Serbes was applying for a license to deal precious metals and provided false information to the Department of Consumer Affairs, police said.

* Joseph Miller, 29, of Mattituck stopped his vehicle abruptly on Route 48 just west of Bridge Lane in Cutchogue on Tuesday at 7:21 a.m., when Michael Kinghorn, 21, of Laie, Hawaii, rear-ended Mr. Miller’s vehicle due to poor weather conditions, police said. Mr. Miller was taken to Eastern Long Island Hospital by members of Cutchogue Fire Department for minor injuries, police said.

* Two Mattituck delis were broken into during the early morning hours last Thursday, police said. The glass front door of the Antique Deli on Route 25 was smashed out by a cement block, police said. Cash was stolen from one of the registers but nothing else was out of place, police said. A side window to North Fork Deli across the street was also smashed but nothing was missing from the deli, police reported.

Those who are named in police reports have not been convicted of any crime or violation. The charges against them may later be reduced or withdrawn, or they may be found innocent.
