East End Lighthouses launched its summer cruise series on Saturday with an offshore tour of lighthouses located in New York and Connecticut.
More than 100 people boarded the Caribbean in Orient for a close up look at many of the historic lighthouses on eastern Long Island Sound.
The event, which raises money for the preservation and restoration of offshore lighthouses of Southold Town, was the first of a series of cruises that occur throughout the summer.
