WORTH NOTING Tomorrow’s master musicians today

Each summer, exceptionally talented young musicians from around the world gather on Shelter Island to study for six weeks at the Perlman Music Program’s summer music school.

And each summer, The Arts in Southold Town makes it possible for East End residents to enjoy those remarkable talents in a special performance of choral and instrumental music. This year’s concert will take place Wednesday, July 21, at 7:30 p.m., at the Southold High School auditorium.

Tickets are just $20 and can be purchased at Cecily’s Love Lane Gallery in Mattituck, JET’s Dream in Greenport, Old Country Charm in Southold, Peconic Liquors in Cutchogue and Barth’s Pharmacy in Riverhead or by calling 734-6320. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Perlman program.
