Former Mattituck resident David Curtis Creato, 73, of Onancock, Va., passed away Monday, July 5, 2010, at his residence. Born in Haddonfield, N.J., he was the son of Daniel and Nancy Curtis Creato. He was a member of the Mattituck Lions Club.

Mr. Creato is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 50 years, Mary Ann Creato; three adoring daughters, Aimee and her husband George Tryon, Nancy and her husband Kevin Finn, and Elizabeth and her husband Kevin Novak; two brothers, Thomas and Daniel Jr., and a sister, Nancy Lee; and five wonderful grandchildren, Steven and Elise Kroll and Katherine, Michael and Jennifer Finn.

Funeral services will be private. Memorial contributions may be sent to Hospice and Palliative Care of the Eastern Shore, 165 Market Street, Suite #3, Onancock, VA 23417.
