Edward W. Harbes Jr. of Mattituck has gone to be with the Lord July 22, 2010, at the blessed age of 84.

Ed was a lifelong farmer who worked with and for his wife, May, and children, Edward, Patricia and Peter. Six days a week were dedicated to farming and earning a living. The seventh was for church, family or fishing.
