Father, son rescued after boat capsizes

Southold Police rescued father and son boaters Sunday after their boat capsized near Great Peconic Bay in Mattituck.
The 12-foot boat being operated by Bryan Gordon, 37, of Baiting Hollow and his son Joshua, 12, capsized after being struck by a large wave, police said.
The Gordons were wearing life vests when they were discovered in the water shortly after 10 a.m., police said. They were unharmed.
Their boat was recovered by Sea Tow and the Southold Bay Constables.
