Thunderstorms wreaking havoc on the North Fork

Quick storms that ran through the area Wednesday didn’t need too much
time to do their share of damage.
Thunderstorms in Southold even dropped a a tree at Town Hall onto the cars of two attendees and a vehicle driven by a Suffolk County Water Authority rep.
The National Weather Service had a thunderstorm warning in effect for
the area from Wednesday afternoon until 9 p.m.
