WORTH NOTING Country Fair on the way

The 35th annual Riverhead Country Fair will welcome fall to the East End on Sunday, Oct. 10, with a full day of family fun and festivity, running from 10:10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The array of events and activities that will take place throughout the downtown area includes live entertainment all day, a vegetable decorating contest, farm animals and pony rides, folk music and arts, garden and pedal tractor pulls, carnival rides and a midway, competitions in agriculture and needlecraft, hundreds of vendors and, of course, great food and local produce.
