James and Justine Gilvarry of Southold have announced the engagement of their son, Jonathan, to Alexis Ryskina, daughter of Simon and Olga Ryskina of Atlanta, Ga.

Jonathan is a veterinarian and part owner of the DeBary Animal Clinic in DeBary, Fla.

Alexis is a senior financial analyst with KB Homes, Inc. in Orlando, Fla.

The wedding is set for Jan. 8, 2011, in Winter Park, Fla.
