Cops: Woman with prior DWI conviction caught driving drunk in Laurel

A 28-year-old East Quogue woman with a history of drunk driving was arrested Wednesday night after she struck a guide wire while driving drunk in Laurel, Southold Police said.
Meghan Sullivan was heading east on Route 25 when she lost control of her vehicle, struck the guide wire and continued into a tree, police said.
She was transported by the Mattituck Fire Department to Eastern Long Island Hospital where she was treated for minor injuries and released. She was then taken to police headquarters to be held for arraignment.
Her vehicle was seized due to a prior DWI conviction, police said.
