Judith Tyner

Judith “Judy” (Raynor) Tyner died Saturday, Sept. 4, 2010, at St. John’s Lutheran Home, Billings, Mont.

She was born March 2, 1941, in Greenport. Judy lived in New York until 1960, when she moved to Gas City, Ind., to start a family. While there she met her lifelong friend Barbara Rock.

Judy lived in Marathon, Fla., for many years. In 1987 she moved to Crystal River, Fla. Judy loved working at Oysters Restaurant for William Bunch (owner and friend). While there she made great friends with Sonny, B.J. and Alicia. She spent the last two years of her life in Billings, Mont.

We are grateful to the staff at Valley Health Care, where her health improved. She moved to St. John’s Lutheran Home, where she made friends with the staff and residents, especially Joanne.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Frederick L. and Marion Raynor. She is survived by her daughters and their families: Cindy (Matthew) Kennedy, David (Lisa), Rachel, Sara, Casey and Jessica of Billings, Mont.; Tambra (Curt) Kirschner, Justin, Judy (great-granddaughter Halo), Jordan and Connor of Dunnellon, Fla.; and Patricia Tyner (Walter) and Billy of Crawfordville, Fla. Her brother and his family: Frank (Bertha) Raynor, Kim (Steven) Sweeney, Rachael, Stephanie, Frank Jr. (Tracy) Raynor, Terri (Johnny) DiVello, Nicole, Taylor, Hunter and Leah all of Mattituck; her brothers Eugene Raynor of Florida and Timothy Raynor of Colorado; and her sister-in-law Wanda (Harold) Stephens of Lecanto, Fla.

Services are planned for a later date. Judy was loved by many and will be missed by all.
