Pair of arrests in Southold Town

A 28-year-old Peconic man was charged with DWI just before 2 a.m. Saturday, after Southold Town Police found his car overturned on Rt. 48 in Peconic.
Matthew Conlon, whom police said was uninjured in the accident, failed several field sobriety tests and was taken to headquarters where he was held for arraignment, according to police reports.

Michael Webster, 21, of Southold was arrested for criminal trespass just after 9:30 a.m. Saturday after he entered a residence on Main Street in Greenport though he was told several times by police at the request of the homeowner not to enter the premises, according to police reports.
