Cutchogue man charged with DWI following crash

A 47-year-old Cutchogue man was arrested shortly after 8 p.m. Sunday, after his car was found crashed in the median of Route 48 in Peconic, according to police.

Scott A. Kessler was charged with DWI and leaving the scene of an accident after police received a phone call about a green Ford that was in the median of the road.

Police said that Mr. Kessler was taken to headquarters and held for arraignment, and his car was impounded due to a prior DWI conviction.
