Achievements

• The following area students attending Northeastern University in Boston have been named to the fall 2010 dean’s list: Stephanie Cavagnaro of Peconic, an English major; Sarah Hallock, also of Peconic, who is majoring in physical therapy; and Kayla Mottola of Mattituck, a communications studies major.

• Jennifer Ackroyd, daughter of Russell and Donna Ackroyd of Southold, has been named to the fall 2010 dean’s list at Endicott College in Beverly, Mass., where she is a senior majoring in hospitality and tourism administration

• Emily Bredemeyer  of Orient has earned a place on the dean’s list for the fall 2010 semester at Syracuse (N.Y.) University College of Education, where she is a freshman.

• Abbe Clark of Southold  has been named to the dean’s list at the University of Scranton for the fall 2010 semester.

• Ian Grinere of Laurel has been named to the fall 2010 dean’s list at the School of Fine and Performing Arts at Westminster College of the Arts at Rider University in New Jersey, where he is a junior.

• Linda Knoernschild of Peconic has been named to the fall 2010 dean’s list at Stony Brook University, where she is a psychology major.

• Adrienne Rotella, daughter of Stephen Rotella and Esther Rotella of Orient, was named to the dean’s list for the fall 2010 semester at Emory College in Atlanta, Ga.
