Leroy Frank Conklin

Former Mattituck resident Leroy Frank Conklin died March 19 in West Islip. He was 58.

He was born in Greenport Jan. 26, 1953, to Robert Martin and Lillian Harriet (Christiansen) Conklin and was a graduate of Mattituck High School.

For the past 10 years he had lived in Babylon Village.

Mr. Conklin is survived by his sisters, Carol McCaffery of Cutchogue and Maria Martocchia of Greenport.

Private graveside services will take place at The New Bethany Cemetery in Mattituck, with Linda Belanger presiding. Funeral arrangements are in the care of DeFriest-Grattan Funeral Homes.
