Underage DWI arrest in Greenport

Southold Town Police charged one Greenport woman with DWI on the evening of March 17.

Natasha Lovaas, 18, was driving a gray 2010 Volkswagen eastbound on Front St. just before 9:30 p.m. when police said she failed to stop and signal when turning at the intersection of Front and Main streets. Police determined Ms. Lovaas was intoxicated after she was stopped for the traffic violation.

She was taken to  headquarters and held for morning arraignment.
