Agnes Marie Drumm

Agnes Marie Drumm of Cutchogue died on Friday, March 18, 2011. She was 85 years old.

Born in Westhampton, New York, on July 20, 1925, to George Clayton and Anna (née Brown) Gordon, she was a Cutchogue resident for over sixty years. She was a communicant of Sacred Heart Parish, a former member of Our Lady of Fatima Guild and past-president of the Marian Council of Columbiettes.

Predeceased by her husband, Edward A. Drumm, a grandson, John Fogarty, and her brother, George W. Gordon, she leaves her three daughters, Georgeanna (James) Fogarty of Cutchogue, Dolores Neudeck of Riverhead and Christina Drumm of Cutchogue; five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 22, at DeFriest-Grattan Funeral Home in Mattituck. The Liturgy of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, March 23, at Our Lady of Good Counsel R.C. Church by Monsignor Joseph W. Staudt. Interment will follow at Calverton National Cemetery.

A woman of great faith, Aggie had a generous heart, a giving nature and a great sense of humor. She enjoyed her gardening, Bingo, puzzle books and crocheting gifts for her family, friends and craft fairs. Her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren were the highlights of her life.

A proud and dedicated member of the Columbiettes, she participated in all their events and charitable works. In lieu of flowers, please donate in her name to the Marian Council Columbiettes #3852, 2050 Depot Lane, Cutchogue, New York 11935 for their charitable causes. Thank you.
