Greenport man held on robbery charge
Southold Town Police say they arrested a Greenport resident who brandished what appeared to be a black handgun and robbed another man of $40 in cash and a diver’s watch on the grounds of Greenport High School Tuesday night.
Vaughn Lawrence was arraigned in Southold Justice Court on a felony charge of second-degree robbery and held on $2,500 bail, police reported.
No other details were released.
