Lillian A. Price

Lillian A. Price of Greenport died April 5 at Eastern Long Island Hospital. She was 98.

Born April 18, 1912, in Binghamton, N.Y., to Mary (Komacek) and Joseph Duchoslav, she married Irving L. Price Jr. on July 25, 1941, in Ithaca, N.Y. During World War II, she worked as a dental assistant in Johnson City, N.Y.

Since 1948, she had resided in Greenport, where she was a devoted member of St. Agnes R.C. Church, according to family members. She was an avid bridge player, an enthusiastic walker and loved the outdoors, they said, and enjoyed her roles as wife, mother and grandmother.

Predeceased by her husband on April 21, 2008, Ms. Price is survived by her son, Thomas, of Gladwyne, Pa.; her daughter, Marilyn Fiedler of Greenport; and four grandchildren. She was also predeceased by her sister, Marion, and her brother, Albert.

Interment was private, with arrangements in the care of Horton-Mathie Funeral Home in Greenport.
