A note from our publisher

As we announced recently, the newsstand price of the Riverhead News-Review and The Suffolk Times will change from $1 to $1.50 beginning with the June 2 issue.

Traditionally, we’ve used the cost of a cup of coffee as a guideline for our cover price. Yet, despite increasing coffee prices, we’ve held the line on the cost of our newspapers for the last 15 years. Now, however, the time has come.

This change will help us continue providing the award-winning community journalism you’ve come to expect from us. We appreciate your ongoing support and thank you for reading the Riverhead News-Review and The Suffolk Times.
