Irma Hutter
Irma Hutter of Southold died May 14 after a brief illness.
She was born in Brooklyn to Anton and Ella Reinhardt.
A longtime North Fork resident, for many years she and her husband, John, owned and operated Martin’s Gift Shop in Greenport and Victorian Barn Antiques in Southold. She worked as a volunteer at Southold Free Library’s Book Cottage and at Eastern Long Island Hospital’s Opportunity Shop in Greenport.
Predeceased by her husband in 2001, she is survived by three children and four grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Friday, May 20, from 3 to 7 p.m. at DeFriest-Grattan Funeral Home in Southold.
