Not too late to sign up for the Oysterponds 5K Fun Run

Sneakers, or running shoes or cross trainers, it doesn’t matter what you call them. Just lace ’em up and take part in the eighth annual Oysterponds 5K Fun Run in Orient Saturday morning.

It also doesn’t matter if you run, walk or roll in a wheelchair. The race, which begins at 10 a.m. at the school on the Main Road is open to all,

There’s a $20 entry fee, but it’s just $10 for all alumni of the Oysterponds or Greenport schools. T-shirts will be given to all pre-registrants the day of the race, while they last.
