A public information and comment session on the community character chapter of Southold Town’s Comprehensive plan, scheduled for the morning of Saturday, June 25, has been postponed until Thursday, July 14. It will take place at 7 p.m. at the town’s Human Resource Center on Pacific Street in Mattituck.
The meeting was rescheduled because the original date conflicted with graduation festivities at many local schools, principal planner Mark Terry said this week.
Another public meeting to discuss the draft of the community character chapter will still be held on Thursday, June 30, at 5 p.m. at the Recreation Center on Peconic Lane in Peconic.
Southold Town planning staff will post the chapter on the town’s website before the June 30 meeting.
