Edith A. Guy

Edith A. Guy of Southold died July 12 at the age of 86. She had formerly lived in Riverhead and Laurel.

She was born Jan. 28, 1925, to Mary (Johnson) and H. Wesley Anderson in New Suffolk, where she attended elementary school. She graduated from Southold High School.

She worked in banking for many years, initially at First National Bank in Cutchogue, then Suffolk County National Bank in Riverhead and finally North Fork Bank in Southold.

Predeceased by her husband, Robert S. Guy Jr., on March 16, 1990, and her daughter, Pamela Kelly, on Nov. 18, 2002, she is survived by her son-in-law, Gerard Kelly, of Aquebogue.

Memorial services will be held Sunday, July 24, at 2 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church in Southold, followed by interment at Cutchogue Cemetery. Arrangements are being handled by DeFriest-Grattan Funeral Homes.
