‘No parking or standing’ on Factory Avenue in Mattituck

The Southold Town Board unanimously adopted new “no parking or standing” regulations on Factory Avenue in Mattituck.

The law prohibits commercial parking north of the Long Island Rail Road tracks, and bans all parking on the west side of Factory Avenue south of the railroad tracks and along a portion of the east side of the road south of the railroad tracks.

A small loading area for trucks accessing the Mattituck Plaza shopping center will be added between the shopping plaza and the railroad tracks on the east side of Factory Avenue.
